High School Musical - Tickets Now on Sale! - Tickets for the musical Back to the 80's are now on sale at both the high school and elementary site. At the high school, they can be purchased on March 16, 17, and 18 from 9 a.m. to noon in the lobby area.  At the elementary, they can be purchased from 7p.m. to 9p.m. on these same dates.  Next week, tickets can be purchased on March 23 (Tuesday) from 9a.m. to noon at the high school and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the elementary.  On March 24 (Wednesday), tickets can purchased at the high school only from 9 a.m. to noon. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.  


Woodmore High School to be featured on MY School- Channel 24 on Tuesday, March 23, with regards to the restoration of a 1940's tractor by our students. Your vote will count.  Here's the website regarding My School.   


The Harris-Elmore Public Library will be sponsoring its annual teen poetry contest during April.  All students in grades 7 - 12 are eligible to enter poems of any length.  All poems should be typed on once side of paper only with the student's name, address and phone number.  Contact the library at 419/862-2482 for more information.  The deadline for all poems will be April 30.  Grand prizes of $25 gift certificates at an area bookstore will be given, as well as several prizes for runners up.  Categories are Male & Female:  Humorous, and Male & Female:  Serious.

Woodmore Brick Pavers Now Available to Order!

You now have the opportunity to order a brick paver to be displayed in front of the new stadium entry building and through the center breezeway.  CAGE has the goal of having the brick pavers delivered and ready to install upon completion of the entry building.  For more information, and a printable order form, click here.

 


 

National Child Identification Program.

     An identification kit will be sent home with each kindergarten and first grade student. This kit is a partnership of the AFCA and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The ID kit has helped protect more than 21 million children, with a goal of fingerprinting all 60 million children in the United States. Each ID kit includes an inkless fingerprint kit. a wallet card and DNA collection swabs. You may seek more information at www.childidprogram.com. You can also order more kits from that web site.

 

Elementary School News...

Elementary Quiz Team will be having practices on Mondays after school from 3:30 - 4:30 beginning on Monday, Jan. 11.  We only practice if there's school on that Monday.  We'll  continue until Monday, March 1.
