All seventh grade students are REQUIRED by the state to obtain a Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) vaccine PRIOR to school entry in the fall. Important note: a Td (tetanus only) vaccine will not be accepted – it MUST be a Tdap. Students will be excluded from school if they have not received this vaccine before the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year. Please contact your family health care provider or your local health departments NOW!

There is a Tdap walk-in clinic at the Sandusky County Health Department on May 7 and June 4 from 3:00-6:00. A Parent/guardian must be present. Please present a copy of your child’s current immunization record.
